Halloween Night Run
Halloween Night Run – Hastings Country Park
Join us on Thursday 30th October for a unique night-time challenge in the stunning (and slightly spooky!) Hastings Country Park. Perfect for those not confident running alone at night or just to join.
This is a 5km social run, starting and finishing at Barley Lane Car Park, Hastings. We’ll split into two groups so everyone can enjoy the evening at their own pace:
Fast-ish group – mostly running, a steady but challenging pace, with a pace similar to what our events usually run at.
Less fast group – a friendly mix of walking and running, for those returning to running, recovering from injury or just wanting a chattier pace.
If you have changed your mind after booking about what pace to run, don’t sweat it - the bookings just give us a rough idea and a head count on the day will give us our final numbers for each group.
No costumes and no pressure – just a chance to experience the trails in a different light. There will be no aid stations out on the course so please bring your fluid and nutrition needs with you,
At the finish, we’ll gather back together for homemade flapjacks (ve) and hot drinks – the perfect reward for braving the night.
Elevation - I wont lie, its a toughy. Best not to think about it in feet/meters, and more to consider it a journey ;)
Kit - Trail shoes and head/chest torches are non negotiable. If you’ve got it, high vis clothing is highly recommended.
Meeting Point - Meeting at 6.50pm for a 7pm start
